  • Geometric nonlinear and elastoplastic analysis of strength and stability of thin-walled shell structures;
  • Formulation of advanced finite elements;
  • Meshless numerical methods;
  • Multiscale numerical algorithms for modelling of deformation processes in heterogeneous materials;
  • Numerical modelling of damage evolution in heterogeneous materials.

  • Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts Award for scientific achievement in Republic of Croatia for 2005 in the field of technical sciences;
