Dear Colleagues,

 

On behalf of the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports of the Republic of Croatia, Ministry of Science and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Serbia, Croatian Academy of Engineering, Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts and the Directorate General for Research, European Commission, we are pleased to invite you to participate in the Marie Curie Workshop on the occasion of the celebration of 150 years of Nikola Tesla’s Anniversary, which will be held on October 7-9, 2006 in Zagreb, Croatia and on October 9-11, 2006 in Belgrade, Serbia. We are particularly honored to announce not only the first visit of a Marie Curie Workshop to our region, but also the first occasion that such Workshop will be held in the two capital cities. We believe that this Workshop will provide an opportunity to cover a wide range of topics representing the latest R&D developmental and infrastructural challenges.

 

The Workshops venues are Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER) University of Zagreb in Zagreb of the Republic of Croatia and Faculty of Civil Engineering (FCE) of the University of Belgrade in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia.

 

The registration fee for the entire Workshop is 700 Euros and includes all expenses: full board accommodation in twin  rooms, social activities, Workshop materials and road transportation Zagreb – Belgrade – Zagreb.  All participants are asked to register and submit a 200 word abstract with the title, authors and institutional affiliation no later than August 25, 2006 to web addresses below.  You will receive an answer concerning the acceptance of your application by  1 September  2006 and you will be requested to transfer the registration fee by 15 September 2006 and send us a copy of the bank transfer note in favor of the account number IBAN HR7923600001101573628
